Village Hall Car Park Repairs

The Village Hall committee have organised a patch repair for the car park during the May 2026 school holidays to minimise disruption. However to carry out a long term permanent repair and line mark will cost in excess of £30,000, but that is only for HALF the area. Due to being privately owned council funding is not available and the hall is not used enough to provide an income for the Village Hall Committee to solely fund such a large project, therefore a GoFundMe page has been set up, see link below.

When built in 1985 parking was for hall users only, but the amount of traffic has increased significantly over the years by people at school start/finish time, football clubs, pre-school, dog walkers, visiting the surgery/pharmacy etc.
